Sino-Dutch roundtable on international cooperation on New Energy Vehicles policies

As a result of rapid urbanization, growing air pollution, concerns about fossil fuel use, governments around the globe are increasingly moving towards faster deployment of New Energy Vehicles (NEV). In recent years, China has put in place a strong policy framework to accelerate this transition. As a result, Chinese markets and technology are now taking center stage when it comes to NEVs. The Netherlands too is one of the frontrunners in electrifying transport and has very high ambitions when it comes to clean and green transport.

Sino-Dutch round table on international cooperation on NEV policies April 12 invitation and programme. This event, hosted by Shanghai International Automotive City and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Shanghai, explored what leading countries can do to accelerate the adoption of NEVs. It explored further knowledge exchange, cooperation, and coordination among the different global NEV initiatives.
